Financial Assistance
Thanks to funds from our annual fundraising efforts the Rogue Valley Family YMCA is able to provide financial assistance for children, teens, adults and families who cannot afford the full cost of a Y membership and/or programs. The amount of assistance available does vary based on the funds that have been raised for this purpose each year. Assistance is made available until funds have been depleted. All assistance is applied to future programs or monthly dues and is not back dated.
We encourage all who need assistance to apply. It is our goal that no one is turned away for an inability to pay, but we understand that at times we do not have enough available funds to make this happen for everyone. Please know that although we strive to make the Y available to all we are only able to grant financial assistance if we have available funds. Every dollar we award is funded by the gifts from individual donors, foundations, and grants.
We do not offer Financial Assistance Scholarships for a few programs such as personal training, single day programs, membership day passes, facility rentals, and any fundraising efforts (i.e. Pear Blossom Runs, Mayor’s Cup) as these programs are designed to raise funds to be given away.
Help is based on demonstrated need and the YMCA’s ability to fund requests. Applying for assistance does not guarantee that an award will be made.
Please Note: As part of the below registration process for financial assistance, we will be requesting proof of income for all adults in the household and any award letters for any government assistance (ERDC, SNAP, TANF, etc.) you may be receiving. You will not be able to submit your registration without these documents. File formats accepted: JPEG, PDF, and PNG

Camp Programs
This Financial Assistance application is for the Camp programs. Families will need to apply for each session (Spring Day Camp, Summer Day Camp, Summer Overnight Camps*, and Winter Day Camp). *Overnight camp includes the Intro to Rafting Camp and all camps that have an overnight component.
If you are awarded financial assistance this award will be for the session you have applied for, if your family still needs assistance for the additional award sessions you will need to apply for each session you need assistance.
The on-line application process will open 60 days before the start of the award session.
Note: The application for assistance is for the responsible adult, not the child, please apply accordingly.

Campus Connection
This Financial Assistance application is for the Campus Connection program. Applications for financial assistance are evaluated by our scholarship team and they will make case by case determinations. For example if a family is in the Campus Connection program from September until June (the full school year) their financial assistance may be approved for September-June, or a different time frame depending on the details of your personal situation. We recognize that family situations can change throughout the year, to ensure we are being good stewards of the financial assistance dollars donated to the YMCA, you may be asked for updated information throughout your program registration.
The on-line application process will open 60 days before the start of the award session. No awards will be given for past weeks of the program. All financial assistance will only be apply to future weeks of the program. Please allow a minimum of 5 business days before the payment due date of your program, to allow the team to review your application.

Membership
Financial Assistance for membership is available for those with demonstrated need.
The YMCA is a membership organization open to all people.
If you cannot afford the full cost of a YMCA membership, you can complete this financial assistance registration.

Preschool
This Financial Assistance application is for the Preschool program. Families will need to apply for each session, for example if a family is in the Preschool program from September until August (the full school year) they will be asked to apply for assistance four times: fall, winter, Spring, and summer. This re-application process is designed to help make sure that we are supporting the families that need help and recognizing that family situations change through out the year.
